I just read about your illness. Sorry to hear about that. I recently went through something similar. I had severe pain in my upper throat for about 1 year. I saw 10 different doctors, both here in Thailand and in the States, and they all misdiagnosed my condition as acid reflux. I tried every proton pump inhibitor on the market but nothing worked. I had an endoscopy done (fully conscious - not fun) and the results came back showing nothing. All the doctors still insisted that it was gerd. They wanted me to go see the uberspecialists in Bangkok. Finally, I came across some Chinese herbal medicine which helped. The pain in my throat is gone. The company is called Enwei. They're online but I think their website is all in Chinese. They have reps here in Thailand so my wife got in touch with them. According to them, my blood is too hot, so I take herbal meds to cool it off. I don't know if their diagnosis is accurate but the stuff works. I have been pain free for almost a year now. It's like a minor miracle. I am not saying the western docs are wrong, but if you do try that neurotoxin and all the other stuff and you're still not better I recommend giving Enwei a try. Maybe you'd want to give it a try before surgery. It's the only thing that worked for me. They list all the ingredients on the bottle so if you want more information you can get back in touch with me. Hope you get better soon. -

Yo!!! Truly an opportunity of a lifetime. Got to meet the man himself, the Quick Addict in the flesh! Much respect, I only wished my son could have been there to witness. He has seen his dad fight so many times. He just absolutely goes nutt's when Dad bangs some dude out! So he is a true fan, just like his Pops. Hey I stepped on your foot taking a picture with you last year at the Fan Expo in Vegas (and I'm still sorry!!!) but I guess you didn't even feel it and that blew my mind. Hope to see you there again in May!!! On a side note, no offense to Hardy but, well, you know what happened with GSP...so anyway...you look great and keep being amazing I will be cheering for you :) -

Finally read the article about in Fight! Magazine (if you haven't read it, pick it up its a good mag) and it said you had a heart condition where your heart beat uncontrollably fast and you could either take meds to control or have surgery. It sounds like I had the same thing SVT and the surgery was a cardiac ablation (sp?) and it really helps to hear that someone that high in the sport had the same thing as me -

Hey Mike,
Thank you Soooo very much for taking the time to stop for a quick picture with me at the Dallas Convention Centre! You were on your way out and me and my friend (from Albania) said we came from Canada and Europe to see you! Really appreciate that about you that you took that little extra. Looking forward to your next fight and about your clothing store opening up.

Well, its one week til UFC 103!! Its dissappointing
you aren't fighting on the card. You'll be back in the title contender mix soon enough. Hoping to get a chance to meet you at the Event autograph signing. Never been to Texas before and looking forward to my first Live UFC experience. Hopefully see you there.

I've always been an avid supporter of yours. You got the best attitude and work ethic (especially the crazy non stop poker playing I just read about in your write up in 'fight').
