Germany
In May of 2009, I went on a military tour through Germany to visit troops and show support. In June of 2009, I fought at UFC 99 in Cologne, Germany. More from the Trip
Australia
In February of 2004, I went to Australia with my friend and training partner Christian Wellisch. He fought in a Shooto event in Melbourne and I went to corner for him. After the fight we traveled to Penguin Island in search of the elusive Ferry Penguin. We just couldn’t believe that there were penguins in the hot desert climate of Australia. Along the way we found many Aussie critters. Finally we made it to Penguin Island and found the penguins--they were everywhere! More from the Trip
Belgium
In 2004, my mom and I ventured into Belgium from France. We visited Bruges and enjoyed the sites of the extremely old city. More from the Trip
Cambodia
In 2008, my friend David and I backpacked from Bangkok, Thailand to the Siam Reap province of Cambodia. We explored the ancient Angkor Wat temples as well as a paramilitary camp. From seeing live mine fields and shooting machine guns to feeding wild monkeys, it was an amazing and fascinating adventure! More from the Trip

UFC 85 was held in England in June 2008, so we did some sight-seeing before and after my fight. More from the Trip
France
In 2004, my mom and I traveled to France for a vacation. We spent two weeks touring the city and enjoying the sensational cuisine. More from the Trip
Hawaii
In August 2007, I took Mary to Hawaii for her birthday. We soaked up some sun and then finished the trip off with shark diving in North Shore. In February 2009, Mary and I went to Hawaii for a weekend with a couple of friends. We enjoyed zip-lining as well as some ATV adventures. More from the Trip
Mexico
In 2003, I spent my birthday in Cabo San Lucas with my mom. I went sail fishing for the first time and made a huge catch! In 2006, Mary and I took a cruise through the Mexican Riveria. We had a great time stopping off at many of Mexico’s top destinations. In 2007, Mary and I went back to the Mexican Riveria for a two-week vacation. More from the Trip
Russia
In 1999 I worked in Russia at the U.S. Embassy. It was an amazing year with lots of unforgettable memories. In 2003, my friends David and Christian joined me to spend New Years’ in Moscow. We were there for two weeks and finished off the trip with an incredible New Years’ on Red Square. I went back to Russia in 2006. It's always good to go back to a fascinating place like Russia, especially since it’s ever-changing. More from the Trip
