Alexa Grasso: “It’s very important for me to show that in Mexico, we can do great things.”

In just her second UFC fight, Alexa Grasso finds herself in the co-main event at UFN: Houston. She comes into this fight on Saturday night with Felice Herrig with a lot of hype behind her.

Like Dennis Bermudez, Grasso is making the rounds in Houston. Doing media is part of the job and Alexa continues to do her part. Sitting at 9-0, having a pretty face, and representing another country is something that the UFC are smart to capitalize on.

Daniel Cormier and Kenny Florian bounce questions off of her from the UFC on FOX studio. Alexa answers them like a seasoned vet.

“It’s very important for me to show to my country, my team, and my family that in Mexico we can do great things.”

“I want to be in the top ten. I want to fight as much as I can this year. If it’s possible, I want to be in the top 5 best strawweights in the world.”
