Following UFC 207, bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes continued her beat down of Ronda Rousey through interviews and social media. Many thought she was going too far with how much she was slamming the former champ and should issue an apology.
Well today, “The Lioness” took to her Instagram account to offer that apology.
Hard to say whether it will be water under the bridge in the eyes of Rousey. But given Dana White’s recent statements that he feels she is done fighting, perhaps she has put Nunes and her verbal onslaught behind her.
This may finally put the Ronda Rousey chapter of Amanda Nunes’ career to bed. Now she has to focus on #1 contender Valentina Shevchenko as they are set to clash sometime this year.
