When will Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko meet in the Octagon? We’re not sure at this point.
UFC Bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes took to Twitter to seek a date in the Octagon with Valentina Shevchenko. She was hoping to set up the clash for June 3rd at UFC 212 in Rio. Here’s what Amanda said.
I see you June 3? @BulletValentina

Well, apparently Valentina has a busy summer, and won’t be at the champ’s beck and call. She, in turn, took to Twitter and responded about an original date that Nunes’ turned down, and how she’s booked through June now. Here’s the tweet I’m referring to.
UFC offered fight in Apr, you declined. Was told U would be back July. My schedule planned till July. Any where/anytime in July @Amanda_Leoa

The UFC has not made any public comment on when these two might meet again. They met at UFC 196 and Amanda won that fight by a unanimous decision.
