One of the many great things about Invicta FC is the creativity and personality that the fighters show during weigh-ins. A number enjoy doing a little cosplay and dressing up as comic book or video game characters.
One such fighter that has mastered it and is bringing that flare to the UFC is Angela Hill.
Hill broke onto the scene through The Ultimate Fighter as one of the early group of strawweights to be seen in the UFC. After going 1-2 for the promotion, she was cut by the UFC and landed in Invicta. It was here that she started to shine.
Not only did she go 4-0 for the promotion in 2016 and win the Invicta FC strawweight title, she also gave us a glimpse into her creative side.
During the weigh-ins for her four fights in Invicta, we have seen Hill dress as a character from the film “The Warriors”, the video game “Fallout 4”, Afro Samurai, and Dhalsim from “Street Fighter II”.
At yesterday’s weigh-in for UFC Fight Night from Houston, Angela went back to her Muay Thai roots and channeled another “Street Fighter II” character when she took the stage as Sagat.

Ever since the signing of the Reebok deal, creativity has been scarce at weigh-ins. Angela Hill is looking to bring back that flare and entertainment that is so often lost these days.
Angel Hill faces Jessica Andrade tonight at UFC Fight Night from Houston, Texas. It is her first fight back in the UFC since October of 2015.
UFC Fight Night Houston airs live on FS1 with the prelims starting at 8pm EST.
