Big money fights are becoming all the rage in mixed martial arts. After Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz fattened their wallets earlier this year, it seems like everyone is angling for a big payday of their own. UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has been vocal about wanting a big money fight, and recently Tony Ferguson has refused to accept a fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov unless the money is right.
Woodley, however, might have found a taker for his request. Enter UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping. This past weekend during UFC 207, Woodley and Bisping crossed paths. And, well, you can see for yourself below what went down but the words “May” and “180lbs catchweight” were thrown around.
