BJ Penn is making his return to the Octagon in December
BJ Penn is making the walk again. The Prodigy will be back at 155 pounds when he faces TUF 22 winner, and grappling ace Ryan Hall at UFC 232. BJ Penn has struggled against strikers late in his career, but he has little to worry about in that capacity when he faces Hall. Ryan has been called boring by many, but he has a style and stick to it. His submissions and leg locks are top notch.
BJ Penn has not won a fight in nearly eight years and lost in his last outing against Denis Siver in June of 2017. BJ Penn is a former UFC Lightweight and Welterweight champion, but his best years seemingly are in his past. He will be looking to rebound from a five-fight skid at the T-Moble Arena when he faces Hall.
Ryan Hall (6-1) become The Ultimate Fighter season 22 when he defeated Artem Lobov at the finale back in 2015. He’s only had one fight since then when he bested Gray Maynard in 2016 in a fight that universally panned for its lack of action.
UFC 232 is headlined by a 145-pound super fight between Cris Cyborg and Amanda Nunes.
