ggg vs. canelo alvarez

The fighters will hit the scales at 2:30 PM PST

As the boxing world anticipates the rematch of GGG vs. Canelo Alvarez we’re minutes removed from them weighing in. Both fighters are expected to make their Middleweight mark and in doing so, it clears the last hurdle in this fight taking place. It has been postponed, delayed, canceled and rescheduled but we’re finally here. Alvarez tested positive for a banned substance at one point, postponing the fight. He won an appear however so the show goes on. Tomorrow night the rematch takes place and it should be amazing.

The weigh-ins are going to be available live right here at 2:30 PM PST and will be available on demand beyond that.

The two met for the first time in September of 2017 in what was a hotly contested and wildly controversial draw. Judge Adelaide Byrd turned in one of the more questionable scorecards in boxing history, and there was a major outcry to have her terminated as a judge. The general thought this time around is it’s going to be another great fight.

GGG is currently the odds-on favorite to win.

UFC 220 Press Conference

Who doesn’t love a UFC Press Conference? Head on over and check it out today.

We told you earlier you could watch the UFC 219 ceremonial weigh-ins here, so why not double-dip and watch the UFC 220 Press Conference first. Daniel Cormier, Volkan Oezdemir, Stipe Miocic and Francis NGannou are all going to be chatting about their upcoming championship fights.

Daniel Cormier and Volkan Oezdemir seem to be a go, despite the felony charges going forward against Volkan. Oezdemir is facing legal action for his part in a bar altercation that left a Florida man unconscious and badly injured.  Whenever Daniel Cormier is involved, you can expect fun and fireworks, and this should be no exception.

It will also be interesting to see what Stipe has to say about people anointing NGannou as the uncrowned champion like his victory of Miocic is a foregone conclusion. Stipe doesn’t dig that, and he’ll likely say as much today. Tune in, don’t be the guy asking everyone else what happened after the fact.
