Really cool Mark Hunt UFC Auckland behind the scenes video

Mark Hunt

Mark Hunt defeated Derrick Lewis by TKO at UFC Auckland

A couple of weeks ago the UFC’s oldest competitor, Mark Hunt took on up and coming heavyweight wrecking ball Derrick Lewis. It was a return home for Hunt, who was born in Auckland, New Zealand.  He did very well, stopping Lewis by TKO in the fourth round. It was a very important fight for the 43-year-old Mark Hunt, as a loss could have seen him on his way out of the UFC.

Some of his friends got together before the event and did a Haka dance to inspire him. It seemed to work. You can see that here.

Today we’re sharing an awesome behind the scenes video from that fight day. The video was done by Heartbreak Conditioning and they basically spent the entire day with Hunt.

Joe Lauzon spent a week in Iraq with 3 other UFC fighters, here’s his amazing video!

Joe Lauzon

Joe Lauzon, Jake Ellenberger, Diego Sanchez and Sam Alvey traveled to Iraq.

Joe Lauzon just returned from a week spent touring Iraq with some other UFC fighters. We showed you some footage of them grappling with troops last week, and now Joe Lauzon has posted all his footage cut together.  It’s a ten-minute video that has to be seen. They do some grappling with the troops, meet and greet people and blow some stuff up.

For the fighters, it seemed to be something they’ll never forget. It looked like a tremendous experience.

Check out Joe Lauzon on Facebook.

Cool video, behind the scenes at KSW 39 event attended by 50+ thousand fans

ksw 39

A lot goes into pulling off a successful MMA event. Especially one of this size.

Whoa TV takes a look behind the scenes in this really amazing video, at the KSW 39 event from this past weekend. The event took place in Warsaw, Poland was attended by 58,000 fans. The card was stacked with talent and produced some amazing finishes.  More than the action inside the cage, this video takes us behind the scenes.

Packing nearly 60 thousand fans into a stadium, and pulling off an eleven-fight card with four title fights isn’t easy. However, KSW made it look pretty painless and their product is becoming one of my favorite promotions to watch.

The video is just over 6 and a half minutes long and gives a really cool look at pulling off an event of this scope. The folks at Whoa TV do a really great job putting us behind the scenes.

Joe Lauzon UFC Fight Night 108 Video Blog, Episode 1 – Taking care of Business

Joe Lauzon

Joe Lauzon is among the most entertaining fighters on earth.

In this, the first episode of Joe Lauzon’s video blog for UFC Fight Night 108, we see Joe arrive in Nashville, ahead of his fight with Stevie Ray.  He is shown the weekly schedule of events, and then we see him checking out his Reebok gear. He brought some of his old Reebok gear and they said if he wears that, he’ll be fined.  Interesting.

We then follow Joe to a small room where he signs his autograph time after time on a series of posters. It’s the less glamorous side of the UFC.  We see him pass Sam Alvey in a hallway and true to form, Alvey is all smiles.  Watching Joe walk through this for the umpteenth time, it really seems routine.  He does a little AMA session and someone asks him about his post-fight party.  He says, he’ll probably find a Five Guys, or some other burger place and eat “like a fat kid. Maybe some ice cream.”  He’s so at ease.

We see Joe being interviewed by John Morgan from MMA Junkie, all part of doing his media responsibilities for the week.  He has a great attitude about fighting. He’s put in the work, done all he can, and now all he has to do is fight.  Wednesday night, Joe weighs 165 pounds and we see him doing a light workout.

The video closes with Joe eating a big burger and looking into the camera, and saying, “156, here I come.”  Classic Joe Lauzon.

Demetrious Johnson Breaks Down The Matrix Against Wilson Reis

Demetrious Johnson Enters the Matrix

Who better to break down a Demetrious Johnson fight than, Demetrious Johnson

Last Saturday night, the pound for pound best in the world Demetrious Johnson stepped into the Octagon. He was attempting to tie Anderson Silva’s record for 10 consecutive title defenses.  He defeated Wilson Reis in what was another in a series of amazing fights.  Here he breaks down the fight, as only he can. Demetrious Johnson enters the Matrix.

Fight breakdowns are pretty interesting typically.  Usually, an analyst looks at the fight video and tells you what it is you’re seeing.  It’s more of a rarity when the fighter involved breaks down his own fight.  Demetrious Johnson breaks down his own performance in this video.  Yes, Demetrious Johnson enters the Matrix.

Tyron Woodley The Champ Life: Episode 3 – Buying Whips and Chains and a trip home

Interim Title

Tyron Woodley is back with another episode of The Champ Life

Tyron Woodley brings us into his life again with Episode 3 of, Tyron Woodley The Champ Life.  We join him as he shops for a new chain to open the video. Woodley goes home to where he grew up in Ferguson, MO and shows us his past. He’s blessed to also be able to purchase some cars for his family members.

Tyron does an amazing job with these videos, and it’s amazing to get a look into the life of an often misunderstood Woodley. We see him on the set of his new movie, The Escape Plan 2, where he has a big part. He’s in the movie with Sylvester Stallone, Dave Bautista and 50 Cent among others.

The last scene of the episode is really cool.  Tyron is at a Chevy dealer and he’s buying 3 cars.  He’s buying one for his mother, one for his 13-year-old son (which will be driven by the babysitter for the next 3 years) and one for the father of one of his kids.  Tyron is a good dude, and this shows it through and through.  He’s not about being rich, he’s about helping people and doing the right thing.  Check out the entire episode below.

Gegard Mousasi: Pound for Pound – Episode 1

Gegard Mousasi: Pound for Pound

Gegard Mousasi is set to face Chris Weidman at UFC 210 in Buffalo this weekend.

Gegard has a new video series out, called Gegard Mousasi: Pound for Pound.  This is Episode 1 and it focuses primarily on Gegard’s training for his Weidman fight. We also get a look at his home, which is a farm.  He has a nice gym on his property.  Mousasi talks about living with his mother.  It’s a nice look into Mousasi’s life.

Mousasi (41-6) is one of the best Middleweights in the world, but he doesn’t seem to factor into the UFC’s current title plans.  The whole Middleweight title picture is muddied by GSP showing up, and Dan Henderson getting the last shot. Guys like Mousasi, Yoel Romero, and Jacare Souza seem out in the cold. It’s an unfortunate situation, but seems more and more like where the UFC is heading. Big money draws over deserving fighters.

Chris Weidman (13-2) would like to get back in the title picture as well. The former champion dropped fights to Luke Rockhold and Yoel Romero.

I’ll be looking forward to future videos in this series, and Mousasi has always been a bit of mystery and this is a cool look behind the scenes.  Enjoy.

Get to know Gegard Mousasi.

The film documents the time frame of McGregor winning the interim title against Chad Mendes and goes up to right before the Alvarez Madison Square Garden Fight. It is a film that any MMA fan will enjoy and even more so, Conor McGregor fans.

Rose Namajunas: Thug Diaries

Rose Namajunas: Thug Diaries

The UFC strawweight division is chock full of talent and recognizable faces since its debut on The Ultimate Fighter in 2014. One of the breakout stars of the show, and the division, is “Thug” Rose Namajunas. While she may have lost the title fight finale to Carla Esparza, the defeat did very little to lower Rose’s star meter.

Rose is currently ranked #4, having lost her last fight to Karolina Kowalkiewicz. In late December fans started lobbying for a matchup between Namajunas and Michelle Waterson after Waterson quickly and easily defeated Paige VanZant.

In the time since Rose last stepped foot in the octagon  she has done quite a bit of living. Having recently returned from a trip to Southeat Asia, Rose feels rejuvenated and ready to get back to work.

Rose has been putting herself out there in an even bigger and more open way with her documentary series “Thug Diaries”. To date she has filmed 7 episodes, and all are worth your time. For your convenience, you can find all 7 episodes below; but you might want to subscribe to her YouTube channel so you can see new episodes as soon as they drop.

In the meantime, enjoy “Thug Diaries”:
