rqms-lord-fedor-unconventional

It’s time for another Real Quick Podcast in your life! Mike Swick and Marc Bogutzki are really pumped up in this episode because things are going very well at AKA Thailand. Right now, Anastasia Yankova is in her fight camp and the guys focus a lot on her and her unconventional training in this episode.

Also, like the title states, Fedor is a big focus on the show. Fedor showed-out this past weekend with his stunning knockout win over Frank Mir at Bellator 198. Being that Fedor is one of Swick’s favorite fighters, Swick is very impassioned when talking about him.

Of course, both Mike and Marc have personal stories upon stories to keep you laughing throughout. Episode 26 is another winner, so check it out.

RQMS Podcast Ep 24 with Chuck Liddell. ‘Iceman and the Tramp’.

rqms-podcast-liddell-iceman-tramp

There are some things that you just can’t unsee. On episode 24 of the Real Quick Podcast, Marc Bogutzki is one of those things. Mike Swick decided to mess with his best friend and told him the only way Chuck Liddell would come on the show would be if Marc dressed as a ladyboy. Marc did it and looked like a tramp on heroin. Despite Marc’s uncanny resemblance to Alanis Morissette on a bender, this episode is all about The Iceman.

From our YouTube:

‘Chuck Liddell joins the guys in an epic interview as Mike tricks Marc into dressing in drag as a ladyboy. Chuck makes a bold challenge to Tito Ortiz, they discuss Chuck’s memorable time in Thailand and in LA, Chuck Liddell Jr beating up Marc, his crazy trip up the Mountain in Peru with Steve-O, his time on Big Brother, and more!’

UFC 223 has come and gone (barely) and the boys recap the show that almost wasn’t. Aside from the wild events which led up to the pay per view, the event was a success.

Mike Swick and Marc Bogutzki begin the podcast clarifying their comments about Conor McGregor from the previous podcast.

Then, the guys break down the main card. Of course, when it comes to Swick’s teammate, Khabib Nurmagomedov, he has a lot to say. Khabib put on a clinic against late replacement fighter, Al Iaquinta, and looked phenomenal in the fight.

Then, the boys get back on the subject of ‘the bus incident’ and everyone who was involved. Swick is extremely passionate about MMA and truly isn’t pleased with what happened.

Mike Swick Slams Conor McGregor for his Barclays antics

swick-slams-mcgregor-barclays-antics

Conor McGregor showed up at the Barclays Center and went nuts. By now, we’ve all seen the footage. We all have our opinions about what we saw. Now, we have the thoughts of our namesake, Mike Swick, and it’s about the most animated and heated you’ve ever seen him.

Mike is a proud veteran of MMA and a teammate of Khabib Nurmagomedov. So, it’s obvious that he is going to have a very stern opinion towards the McGregor situation.

I’ve known Mike for over thirteen years and I’ve never seen him so pissed off. Knowing how much he cares about the sport of MMA and it being in a good light, he takes McGregor’s actions personally.

From our YouTube:

“Mike Swick holds no punches as he slams Conor McGregor over the UFC 223 fighter bus attack. The guys also discuss the breaking news of Al Iaquinta being put in to face Khabib after Max Holloway and Anthony Pettis both didn’t work out. It was a roller coaster of a card coming together, but the guys wrap it all up with the latest of updates.”

The RQMS Podcast rolls on and is back in your life. Episode 22 is here and Jake Shield is live and in the studio. Most new fans know Shields as a ‘Scrap Pack’ member, but before that, he was with AKA. What most people don’t realize is that Shields has been fighting pro since 1999. So, to say he’s been around for a while is a colossal understatement.

The guys all go over Jake’s incredible career and what is on the horizon. Being that Jake is in Thailand right now, he dishes on his Thailand experience. As we always see on the show, the stories about the Thailand experience gets a little wild, but hilarious.

From our YouTube channel:

RQMS Podcast Ep 21: Actor from ‘The Oath’, JJ Soria

rqms-podcast-actor-oath-soria

The guys promised that they would be banging out the podcasts in the next couple of weeks and they weren’t lying. Already back with episode 21 of the Real Quick Podcast, Mike Swick and Marc Bogutzki welcome ‘The Oath’ actor, Joseph Julian (JJ) Soria.

Soria has been in some of your favorite shows and movies. If you ever saw Hamlet 2, he was Octavio (aka Haywood Jablowme). He was in Super Fast, which was a hilarious parody of the Fast and Furious franchise. You’ve seen him in The Purge: Election Year, Crank: High Voltage, Sons of Anarchy, Supernatural, and now… 50 Cent’s, The Oath.

Another epic show by the guys!

From our YouTube:

“Actor JJ Soria joins the guys to talk about his new hit TV show “The Oath”, his training with the boys in Thailand, and his and Mike’s recent altercation with the LAPD.”

RQMS Podcast Ep 20: Swick ventured to Hollywood! Marc stays at work.

rqms-podcast-swick-hollywood-marc-work

You may have wondered why the Real Quick Podcast has been quiet for a week or so. It was because Mike Swick ventured to California and took care of some mainland business. Marc had to stay in Thailand and do AKA Thailand work, so the boys couldn’t get their faces on the screen for you all.

Now, the guys are back in business and it sounds like it’s about to pick up. Swick mentioned that there will be five new podcasts within the next two weeks with a bevvy of guests for you guys!

While the whole show is as entertaining as ever, I believe the highlight was Mike telling Marc that he’s the reason they never became actors.

“You caused me not to be an actor. That’s why I had to fight in a f*****g cage my whole life. Thanks, man.”

This, and so much more are in the show. As usual, the guys touch on everything regarding MMA and life in general.

From our YouTube:

“Mike returns to Phuket from Hollywood, as Marc acts thrilled about missing it. Mike gives an update on Anastasia Yankova’s past health issues and current training camp for Bellator 200. Marc tells about his first water boy job. The guys decide to make it on the Forbes list.”

The guys cover the UFC 222 card and other extracurriculars which includes basketball and Fabio’s truck breaking down. Fabio? Yes, that Fabio.

UFC 222 was a bizarre, yet, exciting event. Sean O’Malley’s injury, Edgar suffering his first stoppage loss, and CB Dollaway vs Hector Lombard’s DQ; All were out of the realm of normalcy. The guys speak on Cyborg’s dominant performance in the main event over Yana Kunitskaya. Of course, they rounded out the main card talking about Zingano vs Vieira and Arlovski vs Struve fights.

Swick gives his usual interesting insight as a pro fighter, as well as how he is literally the most interesting guy in the world. He and Marc talk about how their games of basketball have been going on the beautiful new AKA Thailand courts.  Then, comes the Fabio story.

They break down whether or not the move is a good one and Swick is able to do so from a fighter’s perspective. He highlights the pros and cons of going from MMA to WWE.
