Demetrious Johnson shows Ronda Rousey some tough love. “Grow the f–k up”.

UFC pound for pound king, Demetrious Johnson, did an interview with Jon Wertheim of Sports Illustrated and had some tough love words for Ronda Rousey. Something tells me that DJ wasn’t going into the interview to slam Rousey. Rather, on the fly, he expressed losing isn’t that big of a deal and cited Ronda as his example.

It was innocent enough, but his words came out very strong towards Ronda. When Wertheim asked DJ a question about losing and mentally preparing for it, Mighty Mouse said,

“I visualize myself losing most of the time. Just because I’ve seen so many champions lose and they don’t know how to take it. Their whole world is upside down. Oh, my God, what am I going to do?
You look at Ronda Rousey. You got your ass beat, grow the f— up. It happens. It’s mixed martial arts. I don’t want to be like that. If I lose, I’ll be like, I lost.
Everybody f—ing loses. It’s part of the sport. Grow up. Look, Ronda, you lost two f—ing fights in a row, and you made more f—ing money than the women’s roster. You’ll be fine, don’t worry about it.”

You can’t really knock what DJ is saying here. Ronda’s passion is something to really admire. However, you are still killing it at life and that ain’t too bad.
