Floyd Mayweather says his wrestling is a 7 on a scale from 1-10. Also, the Easter Bunny is real and the Dalai Lama is a Pagan. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s speak realistically. Floyd says he needs 6-8 months of training to be ready for a top UFC opponent and Dominick Cruz has some advice for him.
“I would say that if Floyd Mayweather needs 6-8 months to prepare for his first MMA and he wants to fight one of the best in the world; I could make that with one arm and fight him. That’s just the way it is.”
Cruz goes on to explain that this is the reason that Floyd enlisted the services of Tyron Woodley. If Floyd is actually serious about doing this MMA thing, he should train with one of the best wrestlers in the UFC.
Still, if Floyd fights in the UFC it will only be against someone who is as wildly unqualified to be there as he is. There is no chance of Floyd taking someone on who is a top level UFC fighter for at least 3 years. None.
