Finally! One of the best bantamweights on Earth, Marlon Moraes, is making his UFC debut.

UFC has finally managed to get Marlon Moraes signed to the UFC. What they have now is one of the best bantamweights on Earth, making his UFC debut in June. Moraes is only 28 years old and boasts an 18-4-1 record.

Moraes is part of the stable that consists of Frankie Edgar, Edson Barboza and Eddie Alvarez. He hasn’t lost a fight since 2011 and is riding a 13 fight win streak. In 2014, Moraes won the World Series of Fighting Bantamweight Championship and went on to defend it 5 times.

Moraes’ debut will see him jump immediately into the shark tank. On June 3 at UFC 212, he will make his Octagon debut against number 3 ranked Raphael Assuncao.

The bantamweight division has Cody Garbrandt, TJ Dillashaw, Dominick Cruz, John Dodson, John Lineker, Jimmie Rivera, Aljamain Sterling… and too many others to name. As if the division wasn’t stacked enough, the addition of Moraes makes it that much more lethal.
