UFC 207: Garbrandt storms out of face-off interview with Cruz

In the build up to the co-main event of UFC 207 taking place this Friday night, UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and Cody Garbrandt have not held back one bit in the trash talking department. Fight fans and media are no doubt happy that his matchup didn’t fall under the media blackout rules.

Today was the media day portion of fight week and some hefty sound bytes and tidbits were to be expected. Cruz and Garbrandt were placed in separate rooms to do interviews together for numerous television outlets. When the trash talk from Cruz turned to Garbrandt’s girlfriend and social media is when things got hot.

“She shouldn’t be hollering at me on social media,” sad Cruz. “Keep her to yourself. As far as I’m concerned, I did you a favor and her a favor. She obviously wears the pants in the relationship or else she wouldn’t be having to defend you. So keep your fling on a string, keep her mouth shut cause this is big boy business.”

Garbrandt got up and made it seem as if he was going to make a beeline for Cruz’ room, but audio equipment and cooler heads intervened. Check out the video for yourself below and get ready for a wild ride on Friday night:
