The UFC had their media day today, for UFC Fight Night: Halifax. The fighters squared off and were on their best behavior. The event is headlined by ‘The Black Beast’ Derrick Lewis vs Travis ‘Happa’ Brown.
Of course, this fight is important for both fighters. It’s a ‘must win’ for Travis Browne (18-5-1) though. Browne has gone 2-4 in his previous six fights and dropped his last two in a row. A third loss could mean the chopping block for Browne. The new owners are cutting everyone in sight and especially those on a three fight losing streak.
Even though Derrick Lewis has won five in a row, he still hasn’t beaten a top tier opponent. He is coming off of a win, although it was not up to his satisfaction.
“That was one of my terriblest fights of all time. I didn’t like my performance at all. That was some bullshit.” Lewis is coming to rectify his wrong and try to erase the memory of his last performance.
