My envy of UFC fighters this week just continues to grow. Fighters in Houston have had Super Bowl duties, fun media appearances, and now a Rockets basketball game. I can’t tell you how much I’d want to watch James Harden not pass the ball, flop, and travel all over the place. Max Holloway and Sage Northcutt were the latest UFC representatives to do something enjoyable during this Super Bowl/MMA weekend.
Of course, controversy follows these guys everywhere. In this case, the Houston Rockets mascot wanted to bite off more than he could chew. It’s not confirmed, but rumors are that he said to Northcutt and Holloway,
“Cash me outside. How bow dah?”
The boys didn’t want to go outside and immediately put hands on ‘Clutch’ after he made the mistake of touching the enormously perfect soap opera arms of Sage Northcutt. Clutch walked directly into a Max Holloway straight right and dropped like any oversized teddy bear would. Sage Northcutt showed a much improved top game, as he looked to finish the beat down that Max started.
Someone is getting fired for this, as they forgot to tell Max this wasn’t supposed to be real.
