After Darren Till dispatched of Cowboy Cerrone in Gdansk, he had other fish to fry. He immediately set his sights on Mike Perry and the two began exchanging cage side barbs.
It all started two weeks ago when the fighters began arguing on social media. Mike Perry struck first and of course, Till responded. Fast forward to this past Saturday and the guys came face to face; Only separated by the Octagon fence.
It was the usual back and forth between fighters. “I’ll f**k you up” and “You don’t want none of this”, etc.
Till is ready to fight Perry, but Perry is already scheduled to fight Santiago Ponzinibbio in December. That in itself is a tall order that Perry needs to focus on right now. Santiago has won his last five fights in a row and his last win was a crushing knockout over Gunnar Nelson.
However, December is a long time from now. There are injuries, sicknesses, USADA, and all other sorts of variables that can change the complexion of a fight. You never know, we could see Perry vs Till sooner than later.
