Invicta FC standout Cindy Dandois headed to the UFC

The UFC announced a new bout for its April 22nd card in Nashville, Tennessee. Veteran mixed martial artist Alexis Davis will face UFC newcomer Cindy Dandois in a bantamweight bout.

While this will mark the UFC debut of Dandois, she is certainly no stranger to the cage. Sporting an 8-2 record, Cindy holds a submission victory over current Invicta FC interim featherweight champion Megan Anderson.

Dandois has spent most of her career fighting in the featherweight division at 145lbs but will be dropping down to 135lbs for her UFC debut.

Cindy hails from Belgium and holds a black belt in Judo. She made her professional MMA debut in January of 2009 when she defeated Marloes Coenen via unanimous decision.

Headlined by Cub Swanson vs Artem Lobov, UFC Fight Night Nashville takes place Saturday, April 22, from the Bridgestone Arena. It airs live and free on FS1 with the main card starting at 10pm EST.
