We all know that Justin Wren is a humanitarian first and a fighter second. His help building wells to provide fresh water for communities in African is very well documented. Now, it looks as if Khabib Nurmagomedov is channelling his inner Wren and joining the cause.
Former UFC light heavyweight champ, Rashad Evans, is seeing the work that Khabib is doing and even has become motivated to do his part to help out his fellow man.
Taken from Rashad’s Instagram:
“I’m beyond impressed with Khabib Nurmagomedov for making it his top priority to go to Nigeria to build wells for water. Anyone can say they want the world to be better but it takes a special person to make that change start with them.
If we want to turn things around in this world the only person we need to change is ourselves.
Next year I will climb Mt. Kilimanjaro with the @waterboysorg to raise money to build wells in Tanzania.”
All of the fighters becoming humanitarians is pretty motivating, I must say. Maybe we can’t all build wells, but we can take a cue from these guys to do just a little bit more.
