Josh Koscheck hasn’t been in a cage in nearly two years, that changes in three weeks
Josh Koscheck (17-10)* is one of the few remaining combatants from The Ultimate Fighter’s first season that are still active. He hasn’t competed in nearly two years, but he’s been added to the February 18th Bellator 172 card. Josh Koscheck will be facing Mauricio Alonso who is 0-1 under the Bellator umbrella.
Koscheck was a polarizing figure on The Ultimate Fighter and remained so throughout his MMA career. He’s man people often love to hate. He enjoyed much success in the UFC, gaining a world title shot. He lost that title match to Georges St Pierre at UFC 124. He’d previously lost to GSP at UFC 74. He finished his UFC stint with a five fight losing streak, and he’ll be looking to rebound against Alonso.
Mauricio Alonso (12-7)* is competing for the second time for Bellator. He was defeated in his debut, by Nick Pica and has won two fights in a row outside of the promotion. Mauricio is coming off a victory over Justin Baseman. That win opened the door for his return to Bellator.
Also added to the Bellator 172 card is a fight between middleweights Anatoly Tokov and Francisco France.
