Luke Sanders gets new opponent, as Bryan Caraway is injured. Again.

The UFC announced today that Bryan Caraway has pulled out of his fight with Luke Sanders. They were scheduled to face off on the December 9th UFC Fresno card. The talented bantamweight, Caraway, hasn’t fought for over a year and this new injury will sideline him for even longer. The UFC wasted no time finding a replacement fighter for Luke Sanders.

Have no fear, Andre “The Asian Sensation” Soukhamthath is here!

According to Thomas Gerbasi at UFC.com:

“After a pair of razor-thin split-decision losses, Andre “The Asian Sensation” Soukhamthath hopes to take the judges out of the equation On Dec. 9 when he battles Luke Sanders in a UFC Fight Night bout at Save Mart Center in Fresno.

Soukhamthath replaces Bryan Caraway, who was forced out of the bout due to injury.

After parlaying a three-fight knockout streak into a call from the UFC, hard-hitting Rhode Island native Soukhamthath has fallen just short of victory in bouts against Albert Morales and Alejandro Perez, but he’s expecting that the third time will be the charm against the always exciting Sanders, who owns wins over Terrion Ware and Maximo Blanco, the latter victory earning him Performance of the Night honors.”

Looks like we should have a good one between Cool Hand Luke and The Asian Sensation.
