Mackenzie Dern signs a contract with Invicta FC, will debut in December
Mackenzie Dern signs on with Invicta FC, set to debut in December.
Jiu-Jitsu standout turned MMA practitioner Mackenzie Dern has signed a contract to compete with Invicta FC. She had been fighting for Legacy Fighting Alliance and has earned a 4-0 record since turning professional. She’s a talented fighter, but the knock on her has been she struggles to make weight at times. Hopefully, that’s an issue that is behind her as she heads into Invicta FC.
She stated on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani that she would be debuting with Invicta on December 8th against former title challenger Kaline Medeiros. The fight will take place at Strawweight and will be available for viewing on FightPass.
Kaline Medeiros (8-5) has won five of her last six fights heading into her clash with Dern. She battled and lost to Strawweight Champion and UFC fighter Angela Hill in her last visit to the cage. She’s known as “The Dark Angel” and will likely be an underdog in her fight with Dern.
