Mark Hunt will attempt to go out in style on December 8th
Mark Hunt will be fighting for the last time under his current UFC contract when he meets Justin Willis at UFC Adelaide on December 8th. It’s unlikely that whether he wins or loses, Hunt will resign with the organization who he has been at odds with and in court with over the past few years. Hunt has lost back to back fights, to Curtis Blaydes and Aleksei Oleinik.
For Hunt, the opportunity to finish with the UFC at home in front of his fans is huge. Win, lose or draw, Mark Hunt will receive a crazy ovation from the fans and if he can find the walk-off KO magic, forget about it, the roof will come off the arena. It’s going to be a special night for Hunt and his fans.
Justin Willis, however, will be looking to play spoiler. The heavy-handed heavyweight will look to trade with Hunt and finish before being finished. Whoever lands the go-home shot first, wins. Willis is 3-0 since joining the UFC and he will be looking to finish Hunt. He’s a member of the AKA family and is an up and coming star.
The event takes place on December 8th. So far the following matches have been announced.
