Mixed martial artists are no stranger to Hollywood. From Georges St. Pierre to Randy Couture, and of course Ronda Rousey, a number of fighters have graced the silver screen. Most recently UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping appeared in XXX: Return of Xander Cage and Conor McGregor reportedly turned down a role in the new Predator movie. But now MMA has a new contender for Hollywood.
UFC interim featherweight champion Max “Blessed” Holloway has reportedly signed on to appear in the new film Den of Thieves. Starring Gerard Butler and 50 Cent, Den of Thieves follows a thief who gets caught between two sets of criminals while planning a bank heist.
Holloway is anything but shy, so he should feel right at home in front of the camera. No word yet on when Max will begin shooting.
