The hits just keep coming for Uncle Creepy, Ian McCall. A month ago we posted an article about McCall’s return to the Octagon. We almost laughed at his fight misfortune, because it’s seemed too unbelievable to be real. Ian McCall and Neil Seery were initially scheduled to fight in Ireland on November 19, but McCall was pulled from the card a day before. Their bout was rescheduled for February 11th at UFC 208, but now that fight looks to be history.
Seery took to his Facebook today:
“I pulled out of my fight in 2 weeks, due to losing my mother-in-law today. Sorry to everyone who bought tickets, but family comes first.”
He’s absolutely correct and major props to Seery for keeping his priorities in order. I’m sure we will see ‘Two Tap’ compete in his retirement fight at some point, in 2017.
Now Ian McCall just needs a new opponent.
