Norman Parke gets eye-poked for No Contest then punched by cornerman

Sometimes it’s not your night, count Norman Parke in on that feeling.

This afternoon, as part of the KSW 40 show in Dublin, the co-main event featured a contest between Norman Parke and Mateusz Gamrot. The fight, unfortunately, ended with a foul, as Parke was poked in the eye for the second time, and it resulted in a No Contest.  After the decision, the fighters are their corners were upset, and that’s when it happened. Parke kind of pushed a cornerman and another one absolutely sucker-punched him.

It is frowned upon to sucker punch people, but as Gus Johnson once said, these things happen in MMA. They shouldn’t, but they do. I am certain there will be some ramifications following the cheap shot, but for now, just peep it and go on living your life.
