Julianna Pena isn’t shy – Amanda Nunes is not a “Mystic Unicorn”

Julianna Pena isn’t shy about promoting herself as the best in the world

Julianna Pena took a break from talking about Ronda Rousey to discuss a potential UFC Bantamweight title clash with Amanda Nunes with TMZ.  She commented on how Nunes has lost before, claiming, she’s not “some mystic unicorn.”  When asked if the UFC has talked to her about a potential match-up with Nunes she said, “They said trust the timing in your life and let the fight build.”  She added, “2017 will be the year of the vixen. the Venezuelan Vixen will be crowned the 135 pound Bantamweight Champion in 2017.”

UFC second ranked Julianna Pena  (9-2) faces UFC first ranked Valentina Shevchenko (13-2)  on January 24th at UFC Fight Night 104.  The winner of that fight will likely find themselves in a title fight with Amanda Nunes next.
