Following her first loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November of 2015, Ronda Rousey’s acting career hit a roadblock. After her second loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 this past December, it was the belief of many that her acting career was TKO’d as well.
Fortunately for Ronda, that’s not the case. It is being reported that Ronda has scored a guest star role on the hit NBC show, Blindspot. She will appear in episode 220 as a prison inmate named “Devon Penberthy”. The episode has not yet been shot and is due to air sometime in early May.
About Ronda’s character:
Devon Penberthy is a female prison inmate who grew up in a working-class family from the White Mountains of New Hampshire and is serving time for transporting weapons across state lines. She is a tough, athletic woman who knows how to fight and handle a weapon.”
Tough and athletic sounds right up Ronda’s alley. No word on the other acting projects that she has been attached to over the past few years, however.
Currently in its second season, Blindspot airs Wednesday nights at 8pm EST on NBC. We will have more on this when she sets foot on set in the near future.
