Ronda Rousey on Monday Night RAW, the day after winning the title

The day after winning the WWE Women’s Championship, Ronda Rousey made her way back onto Monday Night Raw. She was introduced to the ring by one of the heads of the WWE, Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie McMahon is one of the top ‘heels’ in the company and has a history with Ronda. Of course, McMahon made Ronda’s victory celebration all about herself in an attempt to make Ronda more of a ‘baby face’.

McMahon got the entire crowd against her, which is what’s known as ‘getting the other person over’. The angle that they were going for was that Rousey will be a fighting champion. She even said,

“I am not Brock Lesnar. I will be a fighting champion.”

This was taking a dig at the fact that Brock Lesnar was only a part-timer and holding the WWE Championship hostage. Ronda claimed that she will be a full-time wrestler and defending her belt. Ronda goes on to bring the female RAW competitors onto the ring and let them know that they are all a part of this.

Of course, no segment with Stephanie and Ronda would be complete without Ronda taking Stephanie’s arm home as a souvenir.
