Ronda released a statement through her Instagram regarding the honor of being inducted. It read.
“This is an immense honor, to not only take part in bringing women to the forefront of this sport, but now the Hall of Fame. May I be the first of many.”
Ronda was undoubtedly a pioneer and the reason women are currently competing in the UFC. She was 12-2 during her UFC career and ran through fighters like nobody else previously had. She was an absolute superstar and transcended the sport of MMA. Congrats to her for her much deserved induction into the UFC Hall of Fame.
