Roy Jones Jr. wants to fight Anderson Silva, in co-main event of Floyd vs Conor.

Even when McGregor vs Mayweather isn’t the subject, it becomes the subject. I wish this would end. Every day before I get onto MikeSwick.com to write I say, “Please, please, please don’t have any new developments in McGregor vs Mayweather. At this point, I hate their names. I hate their faces. I hate everything about these two because it’s something that has the slimmest chance of ever happening. Yet, it’s all anyone talks about and I have to write about the news.

When Anderson Silva was the UFC Middleweight Champion, he wouldn’t stop talking about boxing Roy Jones Jr. It had no chance of happening, but it was all he Silva kept talking about. Unlike Mayweather and Mcgregor who are selling the hell out of a fight that isn’t even scheduled, Silva was pretty much alone with his promoting. As fast as he said it, Dana White would shoot it down.

Our friends at FightHype once again had the cameras rolling and RJJ was asked his thoughts on McGregor vs Mayweather.

“I think if you put Roy Jones Jr. vs Anderson Silva as the co-main event, you got yourself a good doggone fight card.”

Damn you, Roy. This actually seems feasible and I want to see it. *Insert mad face Emoji, here.*
