Scott Coker is like Marcellus Wallace, sending the Wolf to RIZIN

In Pulp Fiction, when in a pickle, Marcellus Wallace sent in The Wolf to ‘fix’ things. The president of Bellator, Scott Coker, is doing the same thing. RIZIN has been in the trade business with the UFC as of late and now they are into co-promotion. Coker announced on his Twitter that Bellator is sending The Wolf, Darrion Caldwell, over to Japan to face Kyoji Horiguchi.

Caldwell (13-1) is an 11-time Bellator veteran and the current Bellator bantamweight champion. He will go to Japan on New Year’s Eve and fight Horiguchi for his RIZIN bantamweight championship.

Kyoji Horiguchi (25-2) has rattled off 10-straight wins since losing his title fight to Demetrious Johnson in 2015. Upon moving to RIZIN, Horiguchi won the bantamweight Grand Prix. He will put that title on the line against Caldwell on December 31.

Scott Coker is proving once again that co-promoting only helps the sport. Hardcore fans are already fired up on this matchup since it was announced.
