When you’re a professional athlete you become somewhat of a creature of habit. With a workout regimen and diet plan at the forefront of your daily routine, it’s easy to fall into a pattern. Anderson Silva is no different. But ahead of his UFC 208 showdown with Derek Brunson, he is making one big change to his game.
During his entire UFC career, Silva has had one walkout song, DMX’s “Ain’t No Sunshine”. Recently, “The Spider” has hinted that he’d like to use one of his son Kalyl’s songs on his walk to the octagon.
Anderson announced on his Instagram account last night that for the first time in his career, that walkout song has indeed been changed. He will enter The Barclays Center to his son’s song titled, “Doom”.
It will be a pretty cool moment for Silva to enter the arena to a song by his son. Check out a behind-the-scenes video of Kalyl Silva recording “Doom” below.
