“Who wants to write up an article?”
“I will.”
“Cool. Write this piece on Soulja Boy fighting Chris Brown.”

…and here we are.

I don’t follow hip hop and I certainly don’t follow hip hop beef. Apparently I’m in the minority, because everyone seems really interested in a potential boxing match between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy. So much that Floyd Mayweather said he is promoting this fight.

There is a well documented timeline of arguments between the 2 guys on social media. A good journalist would read it all and research it before he spoke about it. I went to art school, so that’s not going to happen. Our good friends at Fight Hype posted a video that documents the highlights of the feud between Mr. Brown and Mr. Boy.

Andre Berto joined the mix by saying he had Chris Brown’s back.

This whole ordeal would probably be taken more seriously if Andre Berto, Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent weren’t ALL laughing every time someone brings up this feud.

All parties maintain that it’s a real boxing match it is going to happen. Soulja Boy and Chris Brown took to their Instagram accounts to say a bout agreement is signed.

The closer we get to March, the more we will know if this is going to be a reality. If there is the potential to have a product with¬† dollar signs attached to it, I’m sure Mayweather is all in. That, or this is the biggest troll job since my wife got me to go to Lululemon by telling me it was a bakery.
