Stefan Struve Injures Shoulders, Forced out of Junior Dos Santos bout

Injury Bug Strikes Again – Stefan Struve Injury forces him off of UFC Fight Night 105

UFC Fight Night 105 was to be headlined by a Heavyweight tilt between Junior Dos Santos and Stefan Struve. It would have been an exciting fight, with plenty of stand up, but it is not to be.  According to Combate a shoulder injury has forced Stefan Struve off of the card.

Stefan Struve (28-8) has won three of four entering the fight and is currently ranked 10th by the UFC.  He will be out for an undisclosed amount of time.

Junior Dos Santos (18-4) would have entered the fight winning two of his last four.  He defeated Ben Rothwell in his last fight at UFC Fight Night 86 and also holds a recent victory over UFC Champion Stipe Miocic.

It remains to be seen who will replace Struve and step in to face Junior Dos Santos.  The card is scheduled to take place February 19th live from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
