Floyd Mayweather to Ronda Rousey “Hold your head up”

Floyd Mayweather to Ronda Rousey "Hold your head up"

They just asked Floyd Mayweather a simple question about Ronda Rousey. It wasn’t about her fight with Amanda Nunes. Rather, it was about how you deal with adversity.

Floyd begins by talking about the domestic abuse charges against him and how he is dealing with that. Then in a shocking move, Mayweather opened up and had nothing but kind words of wisdom for Ronda.

Floyd Mayweather:

“Ronda Rousey. Hold your head up. Stay focused. Keep believing. A true champion will bounce back. Everything will be ok.”

“I think her losing had a lot to do with time off. Maybe she should have competed against another female MMA fighter, that wasn’t as active as (Amanda Nunes). I think (Nunes) was rugged and tough, so we can’t take anything away from her. She was the better woman that night.”

“But Ronda Rousey, she has a lot left. I don’t want her to think that this is the end of the world.”

“Ronda Rousey, hold your head up. You’re still a true champion in our eyes. You made women’s MMA huge. Stay focused, go back to the drawing board, and do what you gotta do. 2017 is a whole new year. 2016… That was last year. Now it’s 2017 and you’re undefeated this year. Come back champ.”

Thanks once again to our friends at Fight Hype for the amazing video.
