Bellator Middleweight Champion Rafael Carvalho needed less than a minute to dispatch Sakara.
Tonight among the combat action, Bellator hosted an event in Italy that kind of flew under the radar. In the main event, Middleweight titleholder Rafael Carvalho defended his championship against Alessio Sakara. It looked to be a good fight between two bombers, but what happened was pretty shocking.
Less than a minute into round one, Carvalho hurt Sakara with a knee and right hand. He threw another flying knee and then connected with a right elbow shot that folded Sakara up against the fence. Just like that, it was all over, and Carvalho was leaving Italy with his belt in tow. Bellator posted the video on their Twitter account, and we are here to share it with you, our knockout loving crew.
