Kendall Grove has been fighting for fifteen years.
In a sport that is typically unforgiving of men of a certain age, Kendall Grove keeps plugging along. Having made his debut in 2003, he’s truly a pioneer in the sport. A member of Season 3 of The Ultimate Fighter, he has done it all in the sport of MMA. Tomorrow night he makes the walk to the cage yet again, in hopes of picking up a big win.
He’s fighting AJ Alberts, who sports a less than extraordinary 8-7 record. He enters this cage having lost four in a row and desperately needs a win over Grove here. Kendall does not have any illusions of fighting for titles at this point. He just wants to fight and do his best.
He spoke during a media scrum and the video provided comes from MMA Junkie. Here he speaks candidly about it being a young man’s game, and how he knows he’s not in line for a title shot. He does, however, remind everyone that he’s still here, making the walk. Fighting the good fight.
