RQMS Review and recap of Bellator 199 and UFC 224

Mike Swick and Marc Bogutzki are here doing the RQMS review and recap of last night’s Bellator and UFC. If we are being real here, the boys kept it even more real.

Both Mike and Marc spoke very passionately about all of the stories that surrounded last night’s fights. They always respect the fighters and their performances, but the stuff that surrounds it, they have strong opinions about. They go over Mackenzie Dern missing weight for the 3rd time in 6 strawweight fights, the dynamic between Lyoto Machida and Vitor Belfort, and of course, Raquel Pennington’s corner failing her in the UFC 224 main event.

Being that Mike Swick is the head trainer at AKA Thailand he really took Pennington’s corner to task. You won’t see Mike as impassioned as he was in this episode of The Real Quick Podcast.

Aside from all of this, they went on to cover everything from last night. It’s another great episode of the Real Quick Podcast.

Cheick Kongo lands the short counter-left and that’s a wrap!

Tonight at Bellator 199, Cheick Kongo and Javy Ayala were on the bill and Cheick didn’t let the fans down. He landed a picture-perfect counter left hand that dropped Ayala in the first round, earning the TKO victory.

The win is sixth in a row for Kongo who now sports a record of 28-10 and moves up another notch in the Bellator Heavyweight rankings. With this win, he could find himself in a fight with whoever wins the Bellator HW Grand Prix. The short left is perfect, see for yourself.
