Bruno Silva knocks out Alexander Shlemenko at M1 Challenge 93

Bruno Silva

Bruno Silva put Shlemenko in the corner and finished him in a big upset!

Today at M1 Challenge 93 Alexander Shlemenko had a fight with the vastly experienced Bruno Silva. Silva had won 12 of his last 13 but was still considered the underdog against Shlemenko, who some feel defeated Gegard Mousasi in his last outing. In the world of MMA though, anything can happen, and today it did.

The two fighters found themselves in the corner and Silva landed a series of punches to the head and body as well as a couple of knees that had Shlemenko in trouble.  A couple of shots later, and that was a wrap. The awesome Caposa posted the video.

In the co-main event, Joe Riggs suffered a knee injury in the second round, clutching his knee after an awkward step. It gave the victory to the undefeated Artem Frolov who moves to 11-0.
