MMA’s unicorn. Getting the knockout while mounted

The unattainable knockout is the knockout while mounted. It is such a rarity that it is truly MMA’s unicorn. Such was the case in the fight between Edgar Diaz and Carlos Briseno at yesterday’s XFL 37 (No, not that XFL).

Diaz was mounted by Briseno and for all intensive purposes, Diaz SHOULD have been in big trouble. However, while mounted, he cracked Briseno and the jaw and Briseno went limp. Diaz followed up with punches and made sure that Briseno was completely unconscious and he secured the win.

Improbable, but not impossible. Yet, really impressive. Check it out.
