The UFC post the 2016 ‘Fight of the Year’. Swanson vs Choi

fight-year-swanson-vs-choi

Thank the UFC for posting the best fight of 2016. Cub Swanson vs Doo Ho Choi was an instant classic that happened only days before 2017. Being that we are staring 2018 today, it seems only proper that they give us one of their greatest ever fights for free.

Of course, there is always some method behind the things that the UFC does. They recently announced Choi vs Jeremy Stephens to take place in two weeks and what better way to market it, by showing Doo Ho’s best fight.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you are one of ten people that missed this fight.

Watch and enjoy! Happy New Year.

Cub Swanson taking gifts to kids at juvenile hall is awesome

Cub Swanson

Cub Swanson is a good dude, he brought gifts to children at Juvenile Hall.

If you’re fortunate enough to know Cub Swanson, then you know what a great person he is. He’s truly one of the more thoughtful and friendly people you’ll meet. He does a lot for others, and it often goes unnoticed. He’s not doing it for the pat on the back, he does it because he feels compelled to do so. In this latest video, he’s delivering gifts to children who are in juvenile hall for whatever reason.

He’s not just there to play Santa and hand out gifts. He’s giving of himself and his time. He’s opting to talk to these kids about their decisions and what it takes to make it. Cub had a difficult childhood and understands how it can sometimes feel impossible to escape your circumstances, but he’s done amazing for himself.  He has also spent time in a youth detention center and managed to turn his life around. His message will undoubtedly reach a number of young people.

Good for Cub for doing what he’s doing to try and make the futures brighter who some kids who could certainly use it.

Thanks to Fox Sports ProCast for the video.

Cub Swanson shows us the definition of ‘Dad Goals’

cub-swanson-definition-dad-goals

Cuteness overload! Cub Swanson shows all men what ‘Dad Goals’ are. Hitting the bag at your job while holding your daughter in a Baby Bjorn; Pretty much the be all end all of parenthood.

This is serious multi-tasking. Spending time with his daughter, training, and running the gym all at once; Cub Swanson is a true Renaissance man.

Of course, when the video is posted online, all the haters come out and voice their displeasure. Luckily, Royal Swanson’s dad is ten times the man that they will ever be. Although I must admit, he may want to loosen up the straps a bit so she can work on her head movement.

CSAC fines Benito Lopez 1,000.00 for shoving Albert Morales at Weigh-ins

Benito Lopez

Benito Lopez shoved Albert Morales after Morales like barked at him.

Well, it didn’t take long for the California State Athletic Commission to levy a fine against Benito Lopez for his push of Albert Morales at the Ceremonial weigh-ins yesterday in Fresno. As you’ll see in the video, the two fighters came together for a stare-down and for some odd reason Morales opted to like, bark at Lopez. Lopez responded immediately by pushing him away. Well, you can’t do that boys and girls. Lopez is a little lighter in the wallet for the lesson learned.

Cub Swanson gets hammered and chiseled all by choice.

Cub Swanson

Most people see a chiropractor for alignment issues, Cub Swanson sees a contractor.

Cub Swanson is not necessarily made of steel, but when he needs some work done on his hips and joints, he gets pounded out with Thor’s hammer and a nice railroad spike. I’m not kidding, check out the Featherweight star visiting a doctor and getting his work done with medieval tools.

Cub Swanson is headlining a UFC event in Fresno, CA against the undefeated Brian Ortega on December 9th. The card can be seen here.

UFC on FOX shared the video as part of their Procast series.

Cub Swanson proves that once again, he has little girl hands.

Cub Swanson proves that once again, he has little girl hands.

Cub Swanson and Fedor Emelianenko have a few thing in common, but the similarity that stands out the most are their little girl hands. This isn’t a joke, but it’s the tenth time that Cub has broken one of his hands. You would think after the second or third time he would have moved on to being an announcer or soccer player.

After his fight with Artem Lobov, people said that Cub’s performance was dominating. When they spoke about Lobov, it was about his granite chin. Apparently, people were closer to the truth than they knew.

“My coaches were yelling at me to throw more punches and more combinations. I was only throwing single shots because he had the hardest head. Every time I was hitting him by the third, fourth, and fifth round… Every time I hit him, my hands were just aching. Turns out, my hand was broke.”

How, after the seventh or eighth time breaking his hands, is he not bionic?
