Derrick Lewis

Here’s who I’d like to see in upcoming UFC clashes. Fight Night 126 was a great night of MMA action, and I loved the fact that it was a Sunday Night show. More of those, please. Curtis Millender does it again. Closes the show with a savage head kick

Curtis Millender

For the second fight in a row, Curtis Millender landed a perfect Head Kick knockout!

Curtis Millender ladies and gentlemen. If you’re not paying attention to the LFA Welterweight, you’re missing the boat. He’ll likely soon find himself in the UFC and if this head kick is any indication, folks should be worried. This was perfectly set up and when he landed the kick, it was pretty clear that was a wrap.

This guy is a beast and continues to impress. He set Nick Barnes up with an extended left and short hook, followed immediately by the kick to the side of Barne’s head. Barnes went down hard and stayed down for a bit, but was able to stand and walk out under his own power.

Once again we tip our hats to the best of the best, Caposa for the video.

Curtis Millender lands a perfect head kick knockout at LFA 24

Curtis Millender

Tonight at LFA 24, the main event featured Curtis Millender against Matthew Frincu in a clash of top Welterweights. It didn’t take long, however, to determine the better fighter, as it was over in just 39 seconds. Almost before Frincu could even get started, he was drilled with a textbook head kick that dropped him like a sack of dirt.

After the fight, Curtis Millender spoke to Cat Zingano and said he needed his circumstance in life to change. He said he works too hard for his son to not get the UFC call. Hopefully, either Sean Shelby, Mick Maynard or Dana were watching and give Curtis a much-deserved phone call.

Millender runs his record to 13-3 with the victory and has won have consecutive fights. He’s ready to take the step to the UFC.
