I think that Tom Lawlor summed up Cynthia Calvillo’s weigh-in gaffe this morning pretty accurately on his Twitter. “Hard to watch part is that they are carting her out to the weigh-ins like she’s a drugged animal on display at a zoo.” Tom Lawlor couldn’t be more right. Calvillo’s weigh-in was like watching someone in … Read moreCynthia Calvillo on display like zombie. Misses weight. Still allowed to fight

Watch the UFC Fight Night 113 main card media day faceoffs

Fight Night 113

Some fighters were pretty intense, while others were all smiles at the faceoffs.

Gunnar Nelson and Santiago Ponzinibbio will main event this Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 113 event. It should be a great fight. They all met and posed today as part of the media day festivities. By and large, everyone was just business as usual, shake hands, smile and pose.  However, Khalil Rountree and Paul Craig seemed really intense and had to be partially separated.

The two fighters meeting in the co-main event were all smiles as Cynthia Calvillo and Joanne Calderwood smiled and looked ready to fight at the same time. I’m looking forward to that fight more than any other on the card. Both fighters look like angles and are absolute killers in the cage. The main card faceoffs can be seen below.

The UFC Fight Night 113 lineup is available here.
