Derrick Lewis ribbing folks on Twitter in the Christmas spirit

Oh Derrick Lewis, you are such a card. In the Christmas spirit of giving, Derrick Lewis has put out a tweet ribbing the entire world. It’s for all to enjoy and HOPEFULLY no one will be offended. Being that it’s 2018 though, someone will find a way to spin this into Derrick Lewis being insensitive … Read moreDerrick Lewis ribbing folks on Twitter in the Christmas spirit

Derrick Lewis picks up a huge and helpful sponsor… For his hot balls.

Buckle up, kids. This one is going to be a little out of the ordinary. However, it will be very helpful for all of you who may suffer from something that plagues millions of men every man on Earth; Hot balls.

UFC heavyweight and resident funny man, Derrick Lewis, has picked up a very practical sponsor. ‘Ballwash by Ballsy’ offers products for men out there who have overheating or pungent testicles. That’s right; Products to keep your balls fresh.

We know that ‘Dude Wipes’ keep your crack intact. But, ‘Ballwash’ lotions and sprays keep your nuts smelling like a brisk forest and not like dirty duck butter.

After Lewis took his shorts off in the cage a few weeks ago he claimed that his balls were hot. Going into his fight with Daniel Cormier tomorrow night, I suspect that no one will have a cooler or fresher sack than Mr. Lewis.

DC on Brock, Jones, and Derrick Lewis. DC honest and open as always

Daniel Cormier is one of the more honest and forthcoming fighters in the UFC. TMZ caught up with him and he was on point as usual. He spoke about Brock Lesnar, Jon Jones, and Derrick Lewis. Being that Lewis is his dance partner this weekend, his thoughts on Lewis are the most telling.

“To me, Derrick Lewis is more impressive because of his ability to fight. This is a young man that was in jail for a long time in prison and society gave up on him. He kept fighting and turned himself into a millionaire. Those are the things that matter. That type of self-belief is most worrisome.”

DC takes on Lewis this weekend for Cormier’s UFC heavyweight title. It remains to be seen what happens with the light heavyweight championship.

Derrick Lewis on people doubting him: “They haven’t learned yet?”

Derrick Lewis is totally fine with people doubting him. According to him, they always do. So why should his next fight for the UFC heavyweight title be any different? Lewis is already a pretty big underdog going into his fight with Daniel Cormier and he just doesn’t care in the slightest.

Lewis is training like he’s going into a 5-round war with DC and he’s cool with that, despite thinking he’s undeserving of the shot.

“Somewhat I do believe I deserve it. Like I said before, there were other guys in line before, they had the title before and lost it; But, they got the rematch right away. I believe that Stipe should have got the rematch right away.”

Well, tough luck Mr Black Beast. It’s you who is on deck for the next title fight.

The UFC have released the UFC 230 poster and it looks like something out of the X-Men series meets the Team of AKA. Watch Bantamweight Sean O’Malley hit the punch meter on UFC Tonight

Sean O'Malley

Big things come in small packages. O’Malley cracks the bag, passes Woodley.

Sometimes you seriously can’t judge a book by its cover. He might look like a hippie McLovin, but that doesn’t stop Sean O’Malley from packing dynamite in his hands. He was on UFC Tonight and as others who have guested on the show did, hit the punch meter. The top performers of all time are listed below.

  1. Derrick Lewis – 967
  2. Daniel Cormier – 966
  3. Pat Barry – 965
  4. Sean O’Malley – 950
  5. Tyron Woodley – 944
  6. Michael Bisping – 942
  7. Daniel Ortega – 942
  8. Jeremy Stephens – 927

Everyone was quite surprised when O’Malley hit it and earned a 950 score. It moves him into fourth all-time behind three heavyweights. The kid has bricks in his hands. Those Montana kids don’t play. If you come from Montana you have a certain hay bail, mountain toughness to you. Sean is no different. Check out the video below, courtesy of FOX Sports UFC.

Sean is an interesting guy, take a look at the first episode of his Youtube series, The Suga Show, right here. It takes you behind the scenes into his training at the MMA Lab and his home life as well. If you’re not already on Team O’Malley, you better get on board.

Derrick Lewis recalls street fight in high school. Beat up 10 ‘greasers’.

In this interview with Derrick Lewis, he tells a story about the time he beat up a bunch of ‘greasers’. It’s crazy because I didn’t know that Derrick Lewis lived in SE Hinton’s 1960’s version of ‘The Outsiders’.

Lewis recalled his time at a high school party as a ‘Soc’.

“It was about 10 Greaser guys with their sleeves all rolled up. It was something that you would see in the movies. They got their sleeves rolled up and they’re all in white shirts with jeans on.

They didn’t expect me to come out; A black guy. I just started whooping up on all of them because they were at my buddies house and they started some mess. That was a fun night. Just started knocking them out left and right.”

Obviously, Lewis would move on from high school to become a top UFC heavyweight.

I imagine 1-on-1 is much easier than 10-1. Stay gold, Pony-Beast.

Derrick Lewis is not down for a trip to Russia, sorry Alexander Volkov

Derrick Lewis will stay here in the States, thank you very much. Alexander Volkov figured he’d do what other fighters do and take to Twitter to call out a fighter for a fight in Moscow. He opted to go with Derrick Lewis. It didn’t take long for Derrick to give his response and it was … Read moreDerrick Lewis is not down for a trip to Russia, sorry Alexander Volkov

Derrick Lewis puts himself in the doghouse after UFC 226 fight

Derrick Lewis was on the cusp of a title shot before he met up with Francis Ngannou at UFC 226. After his performance, he put himself into the doghouse in disgust. Their fight wasn’t all his fault though. In fact, most would say the majority of what went wrong with the fight was all on Francis Ngannou.

Ngannou refused to engage and looked lost inside the Octagon against Lewis. Lewis continued to press forward and throw kicks, but Francis just wouldn’t pull the trigger.

The fight resulted in being one of the worst heavyweight fights in UFC history. Only Kevin Jordan vs Gabriel Gonzaga could be considered a bigger failure.

In my opinion, Lewis shouldn’t be too hard on himself. Yes, the fight sucked, but at least he seemed to be trying to win.

Francis NGannou opens up on lackluster UFC 226 performance

Francis NGannou

NGannou was involved in as bad a fight as I can remember  with Derrick Lewis People sat in absolute shock watching Francis NGannou take on Derick Lewis. Everyone was expecting rock-em-sock-em robots with extreme violence and it wasn’t what we got. Instead, two of the most dynamic and heavy-handed punchers spent 15 minutes not engaging with … Read moreFrancis NGannou opens up on lackluster UFC 226 performance

Derrick Lewis and Francis NGannou get heated during weigh-ins faceoff

Derrick Lewis

I’m really starting to look forward to this fight!

Derrick Lewis and Francis NGannou are monsters. Keeping them apart isn’t a lot of fun. UFC 226 is tomorrow night and today the fighters stepped on the scale and then faced off for media and fans as part of the ceremonial weigh-ins. Most of them went off pretty much as expected, but a few fighters seem to have some hostility towards each other. None more than Derrick Lewis and Francis NGannou. As they stood on the scale, Francis said something to Lewis who then replied. Next thing you know and Derrick Lewis shoved NGannou forcing UFC security to jump in.

These are two gigantic heavyweights and if there was ever a sure thing that someone is getting knocked out, it’s this fight.  The UFC shared the confrontation via Twitter.

Even though this card lost it’s Featherweight title fight when Max Holloway pulled out, it’s still stacked and should pack some excellent knockouts. Hall/Costa, Rountree/Saki, and this fight should all be sure-fire knockdown drag out brawls.

UFC 226 is going to be bonkers, you can see the card here.

Derrick Lewis on Greg Hardy, “I don’t like guys like that.”

Derrick Lewis

Derrick Lewis isn’t a fan of new UFC Heavyweight Greg Hardy, at all. Derrick Lewis has a certain type he openly dislikes. It’s guys who have hit women, and he’s happy to teach them a lesson in the Octagon. Lewis was a guest on UFC Tonight and he was asked about Hardy and wasn’t shy … Read moreDerrick Lewis on Greg Hardy, “I don’t like guys like that.”

The Black Beast vs the UFC on FOX punching machine

The Black Beast, Derrick Lewis, made his way to the UFC on FOX studio and like all other guests, he challenged the punching machine. It turns out that the machine never even had a chance.

Lewis beat the previous record that was held by Daniel Cormier. I can tell you this about DC… He is not going to be happy about it. I suspect that DC will spend his time training for Stipe Miocic between AKA and the UFC on FOX studios.

Derrick Lewis will match punching power with Francis Ngannou when the two square off on July 7, at UFC 226.
