Eddie Alvarez is taking his talents WAY far to the East. Signs with ONE FC

Eddie Alvarez has never cared about a brand name in regards to fight promotions throughout his career. All Alvarez has cared about is getting paid what he feels what he’s worth. This has led him to fight in Bellator, UFC, Dream, and Bodog. Now, Alvarez will take his fighting talents to Asia in ONE FC.

ONE has quietly been doing things the right way overseas. In America, dollies fly through bus windows and class can be severely lacking. ONE FC have been putting on great fights between skilled fighters and no drama has been used for promotional purposes.

Alvarez will be a welcome addition to the predominantly Asian roster. ONE isn’t known for having a ton of American fighters because that is not who they are marketing towards. However, the addition of Alvarez will bring a lot more eyes on the promotion, both foreign and domestic.

UFC on FOX: Calgary, epic Fight Motion video of the event

The UFC never disappoint when they release their Fight Motion videos after a fight card. This past weekend we were treated to the UFC on FOX from Calgary and that card delivered big time. Luckily for the fans, the whole event was captured with the UFC’s Fight Motion technology.

We are able to watch every bone cracking punch and skin flailing from the skeleton with each strike. The video highlights most of the important fights, but of course, the biggest highlight comes in the shape of Jose Aldo’s body shot on Jeremy Stephens.

The look of pain on Stephens’ face is really captured with Fight Motion. Fans genuinely get a sense of how much that punch to the liver by Jose Aldo, sucked.

Thankfully, they left out Eddie Alvarez’ 12-6 elbow that everyone is whining about. Lord knows we don’t need to beat that subject to death anymore.

It’s that time again, it’s media day, this time for UFC on FOX 30. The fighters came together and posed for some photos, and we’ve got the video right here. It was for the most part pretty uneventful. That being said, we felt like you still might want to check it out.

UFC on FOX 30 is highlighted by a pair of big fights. In the main event, Eddie Alvarez will meet Dustin Poirier in a rematch of their No-Contest fight when Alvarez was hit with an illegal knee. The co-feature bout features the Featherweights as Jeremy Stephens clashes with Jose Aldo.

Wait a sec. Did Eddie Alvarez just confirm a rematch with Dustin Poirier?!

Hold on a sec… I think Eddie Alvarez dropped a hint that he and Dustin Poirier will be getting it on again. Poirier has been roasting Alvarez online, saying he won’t sign to fight him. Eddie Alvarez to Dana White: “We ain’t friends til (Super Bowl) is over”

Eddie Alvarez went ham on Dana White. Dana is a known New England Patriots fan. Eddie Alvarez is part of the insane fan base in Philadelphia. The Eagles play the Patriots in the Super Bowl this weekend.

It looks as if boss and employee will have to wait until after the big game to renew their friendship.

“I told him that we ain’t friends until this gets settled out. Once Philly wins, we can be friends again. I texted him as soon as we won and said, ‘My Eagles vs your Patriots. We ain’t friends until this shit is over’ and he started laughing”.

God help America from Eagles fans if they win the Super Bowl.

Damn, Eddie Alvarez. Tell us how you REALLY feel about Diaz.

I’m beginning to feel like Nate Diaz has made himself into a really big target in the UFC lightweight division. As soon as he said he was thinking of coming back to fighting, a handful of UFC lightweights answered the call. One of which was former UFC lightweight champion, Eddie Alvarez. Alvarez and company made … Read moreDamn, Eddie Alvarez. Tell us how you REALLY feel about Diaz.

Classic Eddie Alvarez reaction to Ngannou’s KO over Reem

I watched this video a few times and laughed each time. The reaction of Eddie Alvarez when watching Francis Ngannou vs Alistair Overeem was classic. The reason it was so funny, was because when that knockout happened, I had the same exact reaction.

When the KO initially took place, it was a feeling of shock. Literally, it was a pause and and feeling of, “Wait; What just happened?” Then it turned funny and rolled right into scary, when Reem wasn’t getting up.

Eddie goes through all of the emotions and like a fighter, breaks down Ngannou’s next fight with Stipe Miocic. Before the results are even read, Eddie sheds light on how that fight could go.

That face he made, though. HAHA.
