Here’s the shot that put Michael Bisping away at Fight Night 122

Michael Bisping

Michael Bisping was doing fine at Fight Night 122 until he wasn’t.

Kelvin Gastelum is a young lion. He’s just an absolute monster in that Octagon. He sent Tim Kennedy home early from 206 with a black eye and last night he dispatched of Michael Bisping in the first round of their main event tilt. Bisbing was looking pretty good early on, landing a couple counter right hands, and working his jab. However, it only takes one mistake, and Bisping overextended on a missed punched and left himself open to counter. And boy, was he countered.

Bisping has said he wants to retire in March after competing in London in his home country.  Hopefully, they can find someone for him to fight that won’t stand and knock his head off. What’s Jake Shields up to?

Thanks to the fine folks at Flo Combat for posting the video via Twitter. It’s a savage shot to end the fight.
