Yesterday during the Fight Night Glasgow card, we were treated to a contest between Charlie Ward and newcomer Galore Bofando. Bofando utilized an interesting style in the cage, but how the fight ended surprised everyone. Ward and Bofando tied up, and Bofando slammed Ward down towards the canvas. Ward’s face and head hit the canvas and he was KO’d. It was unbelievable. The thud it made was pretty horrendous. It was an awesome face-slam KO!

Only one fighter missed weight this morning, Cynthia Calvillo weighed 2 pounds heavy.
The fighters will jump in the cage tomorrow, but today, they hopped on the scale. Only one fighter had problems making their contracted weight. Watch it all go down on the UFC Fight Night Glasgow Weigh-in video. Joane Calderwood weighed in a full two pounds heavy, weighing in at 118 pounds. She and Cynthia Calvillo will still fight, but Calderwood has been fined 20 percent of her fight purse, which will be given to Calvillo.
The main event between Gunnar Nelson and Santiago Ponzinibbio was made official as both men weighed in at allowable weights for the Welterweight showdown.
