Ben Saunders wants Jake Ellenberger outside the cage

Ben Saunders beat Jake Ellenberger inside the UFC cage this past June. His knee to the body knockout was so impressive that he earned himself a performance bonus for it. However, since that fight, Jake Ellenberger has said some things that weren’t very complimentary to Ben and now Ben wants to run it back outside of the cage.

Mind you, these are the two nicest guys you could ever meet who are signed to the UFC. Some guys just mix like oil and water, though. In this case, that is what we have. Ben went on his social media with a message for Ellenberger and he put out a very heated message towards the Juggernaut.

“Lets Go Bitch! I didn’t even break a sweat MERC’in your ass and got paid with a win and a bonus, what you got paid to just show up and DIE for the lovely crowd of #Utica #NewYork

You sound like a rich female teenager crying about a 6 figure car your daddy bought for your birthday not being the right color.

If my protocol was to fight once a year, get my ass whooped to make enough for a yearly salary, I wouldn’t bitch and complain about such an amazing opportunity. I would respect everyone I faced and feel grateful to be so lucky. You claim how much passion you have for the sport. Your feeding from a silver spoon. You ain’t suffering, your given chance after chance. It must be nice.

As I said I need no payday to beat your face in. The thrill of your agony is payment enough.

I’ll drive out right now”

That is one angry Bee.

Joe Lauzon spent a week in Iraq with 3 other UFC fighters, here’s his amazing video!

Joe Lauzon

Joe Lauzon, Jake Ellenberger, Diego Sanchez and Sam Alvey traveled to Iraq.

Joe Lauzon just returned from a week spent touring Iraq with some other UFC fighters. We showed you some footage of them grappling with troops last week, and now Joe Lauzon has posted all his footage cut together.  It’s a ten-minute video that has to be seen. They do some grappling with the troops, meet and greet people and blow some stuff up.

For the fighters, it seemed to be something they’ll never forget. It looked like a tremendous experience.

Check out Joe Lauzon on Facebook.

Diego Sanchez and Joe Lauzon post videos of grappling with troops.

Diego Sanchez and Joe Lauzon

The UFC sent Diego Sanchez, Sam Alvey, Jake Ellenberger and Joe Lauzon to Iraq.

Diego Sanchez and Joe Lauzon posted videos today via Instagram. Diego was doing some grappling with the troops and hit up his Instagram account, posting the video.  He’s been there along with other UFC fighters Joe Lauzon, Sam Alvey, and Jake Ellenberger this week. They’ve all been posting some great pictures and videos this week, and seem to genuinely love spending time with the troops over there.

We all appreciate the efforts of the troops and if the UFC can brighten their days by sending over some fighters, then that’s amazing. Check out the Diego Sanchez video below.

What a honor to come out and boost the moral of the troops with old fashion grappling! 🇺🇸 🇫🇷

Joe Lauzon also posted a video via his Instagram, and it can be seen below. Joe and Diego are great ambassadors for the sport, as are Sam Alvey and Jake Ellenberger.  I can only imagine Jake was in heaven touring some of the military aircraft there, as I know he loves planes. Check out the video, and see how the troops fared against the UFC stars.

Loved this kid. Awesome grappling with the troops! Hope we made their day a little better.

Mike Perry talks about his fight with Jake Ellenberger on TMZ

Mike Perry

Perry seems a little bit out of it here, check it out.

Mike Perry knocked out Jake Ellenberger last Saturday night with one perfectly placed elbow. It was brutal, to say the least, and Ellenberger’s head bounced off the canvas.  After the fight, Perry and Jake extended some kind words, which was nice to see after all the anger built up before the fight.

The folks at TMZ spoke to Perry about the knockout and Perry admitted that he “felt for Jake.” after the knockout. He said he might have ended his career with that shot. Perry thinks Jake will fight again, but it’s possible he won’t.  When TMZ asked if that was, in fact, Jake’s last fight, would Perry feel bad? Perry simply stated “No.”  At that point, they all laughed.  No chill at all.  Check it out for yourself.

Relive Mike Perry’s crushing elbow knockout of Jake Ellenberger

Relive Mike Perry's crushing elbow knockout of Jake Ellenberger

If you saw it last night at UFC Fight Night: Nashville, you were no doubt in awe with Mike Perry’s crushing elbow that put Jake Ellenberger to sleep. If you have not seen it yet, you are looking at a contender for ‘2017 Knockout of the Year’.

We’ve seen some very impressive KO’s in 2017 already. Edson Barboza’s knee on Beneil Dariush is definitely up there. So is Paul Daley’s flying knee on Brennan Ward. Joining the ‘Holy shit, that was brutal’ club, Mike Perry put himself on the map with his standing elbow.

Moments before the knockout, Perry had dropped Ellenberger with a left hook. Jake seemed to regain his wits, but then that elbow came. That thing would have stopped an 18-wheeler.
